1.How do I book my trip to Bhutan?

If you like one of our packages you can book by filling up details in our website along with your email and no of persons, programs and date of travel. It will automatically reached to us or you can directly e-mail us, skype us, or call us. You can send us your duration and date of travel. Rest we will do for you. While doing flight booking please do keep at least 3 hours time gap for connecting flights.

2.Why does full payment has to be made in advance for foreign travelers?

It is government rule and mandatory that full tour payment have to be made in advance to government’s account then only government issues the visa.

3.How do I book my flights to Bhutan?

Bhutan Inner Peace Travels will be happy to arrange your Air tickets for your trip to Bhutan with no additional charges.

4.What kind of vehicles you will be getting while you are in Bhutan?

Bhutan Inner Peace Travels will provide vehicle as per below:

1 – 2 Pax we use luxury SUVs (Toyota & Hyundai)

3 – 5 Pax we use luxury minivan (Toyota & Hyundai)

6 Pax and above, we use luxury coaster bus (Toyota)

5.What kind of meals will be provided while you are in Bhutan?

Though most of the Bhutanese cuisines contain chillies as main ingredient but need not have to worry, for travelers and visitors in all the hotels and restaurants they serve continental, Indian and Chinese dishes.

6.Is internet available in all hotels?

Most of the hotels in Bhutan have access to internet now, one can use wifi facility near the lobby areas and even in rooms but some hotels like in Phobjikha don’t have acess to internet.

7.Is there ATM facility in Bhutan and will we be able to use credit card/visa card to do shopping?

There are very limited ATM facilities in Bhutan and it’s not very reliable so It’s advisable to bring some cash with you. Only US dollars/Pounds/Euro cash and TC are commonly accepted. Indian currency is at par with Bhutanese currency and accepted everywhere.

Credit card is still not common in Bhutan. Only handful of stores/hotels accept visa card with 5% transaction charges but now most of the soveniour shops accept visa card.

8.How safe is Bhutan and what are other activities that one can do other than sightseeing?

Bhutan is considered to be one of the safest destinations in the world with its friendly people and  with its philosophy of Gross National Happiness.

Regarding other activities it can be divided into two categories as follows:

  • Young groups – Who are seeking for adventures other than usual sightseeing like archery matches, white river rafting, farm house lunch, walking along the rural areas to explore life in villages. One can even go to bars after day’s sightseeing like to chill out around the bars, snooker halls, clubs only for those who like it.
  • Elderly groups-Relax in the hotels and less drive, less hikes and visiting festivals and cultural programs. One can choose to have lunch in the farm house to experience authentic Bhutanese cuisines.We also offer some special tour packages like meditation, cycling, Motor Biking, Photography, and farm house stay.

9.What kind of hotels will be provided for the tour?

All the hotels that we will be providing for the visitors will be of tourist standard mainly 3* category approved by Tourism council of Bhutan however luxury 5* hotels will be provided upon supplement cost.

12.Do I need to do travel insurance?

Yes you need to do travel insurance to protect against unforeseen accidents and mishaps. We advise you to have travel insurance policy from your country. We regret the unavailability of such policies in Bhutan.
