Visa procedure

Visa and Immigration permit’s arrangements.

For foreigner travelers

Except travelers from India, Bangladesh and Maldives, all other visitors to Bhutan require visa. Visas are issued only when a confirmed booking through a Bhutanese tour operator like us is made. For visa, valid scanned passport copy should be send to us before hand and it should be having alteast 6 months validity after arrival in Bhutan. After full tour payment is made, it takes about 3-4 working days to process the visa. The visa will be mailed to you and you should carry the print out of the visa while checking in at the Airport however the original visa will be stamped at the entry port upon reaching Bhutan on your passport. Air tickets to Bhutan can only be issued once the visa is confirmed.

For Indian travelers

For Indian guests visas are not required however valid voter card/passport will do. You will be getting entry permits stamped on your passport copies upon reaching Bhutan.

Regarding inner route permits one has to give the photocopy of the passport copies and entry stamp upon passport copies and for voter card carriers and birth certificate need to give entry paper, one will be getting from immigration point or from the airport to us, we will be processing for inner permits for you all if you are going to Punakha and far. For making inner route permit as well as entry permit from Phuentsholing India bordering town, day should not fall on Saturday, on Sunday and government holidays the immigration office will be closed.
